Learn new skills, be outside, meet new people and feel better! These inspiring six-week courses explore the ‘five pathways to nature connectedness’ contact, beauty, emotion, compassion and meaning. You will learn self-care techniques including nature-based mindfulness, sit-spots and gratitude, and have the opportunity to try activities such as natural crafts, outdoor cooking, and practical conservation.
Fungi Foray – Otterford
Join local botanist David Allen on a guided walk, in search of wild mushrooms.
Mushroom Extravaganza – Upottery
A guided walk in search of wild fungi, followed by a mushroom cooking demonstration and taster session.
Seasonal Celebration @ Satori Healing Retreat
Join Jen, Somerset Nature Connections Blackdown Hills National Landscapes Project Officer and Emma (host and cofacilitator) in the woods, for a seasonal celebration at Satori retreat centre – we will enjoy some gentle wellbeing practices and nature based craft around the fire.
