Join local botanist David Allen on a guided walk, in search of wild mushrooms.

This woodland walk will give you a chance to learn how to identify mushrooms and toadstools and find out about their ecology. We may need to drive a short distance, preferably car-sharing, from the pub where we’ll meet to reach the woodland.

Following the walk, master chef Andrew Long will demonstrate preparation and cooking methods, with a chance to sample a selection of the dishes he prepares! There there will also be a display of finds to demonstrate relationships between the species found.
