Finance and office senior administrator
This role presents an exciting opportunity to be a part of the Blackdown Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (BHAONB) team, leading on finance and office management.
With a £700K turnover and a staff of 7 FTE, the BHAONB is a very active independent partnership (hosted by Devon County Council) with core work and external funded projects across nature, climate, people and place objectives. Devon County Council finance and other staff (based from County Hall in Exeter) provide support and manage the finance and IT systems overall.
Job Purpose:
To be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the finance and office systems operated by the Blackdown Hills AONB Partnership. The Partnership is a coalition of local authorities, government agencies, conservation organisations and community groups who work together to protect this special, nationally designed landscape. The Blackdown Hills AONB staff unit is hosted by
Devon County Council, who are one of the four local authorities that provide match funding (towards Defra’s contribution).
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Information Technology (IT) Systems
- Finance
- Records and Storage of Information Systems
- Administrative support for AONB staff unit
- Health & Safety
- Premises
- Governance & Administration of the AONB Partnership Management Group
- Office Equipment and sundries
The postholder will be based at the Blackdown Hills AONB office in Hemyock, Cullompton, Devon, EX15 3SH. There will be the option of home working for some of the time.

£26,357 - £29,439 per annum, pro rata
