Walking for health – Dunkeswell

Discovering Dragonflies project launch

A host of dragonfly themed activities including free bookable sessions on willow weaving, jewellery making and junk modelling. There is also pond dipping, a special dragonfly trail, and drop in crafts, Most of the activities will be undercover, so a great day out, whatever the weather.

Volunteering at Young Wood community woodland

The group will be generally improving the site facilities for use by groups spending time in the forest for bush-craft and wood-crafts. We are aiming to improve habitats for wildlife, manage woodland in a traditional way, and improve the infrastructure of simple shelters and workspaces on the site. All tools and instruction provided. Blackdown Hills Beer and Music Festival
