Ferne Animal Sanctuary is set in 51 acres of beautiful rolling Somerset countryside. It is home to an ever-changing menagerie of animals including dogs, cats, horses, pigs, goats, sheep, rabbits, birds, chinchillas & more!
Meandering through the Sanctuary is a nature trail which visits several pretty ponds, a children’s play area and of course various fields and enclosures with our animal residents to say hello to!
Ferne Animal Sanctuary provides sanctuary for unwanted domestic pets and farm animals. The Sanctuary rehomes dogs and cats within a 40-mile radius. Some horses and ponies are available for permanent loan. All other animals remain at Ferne for the rest of their lives.
Ferne Animal Sanctuary is an independent charity entirely reliant upon donations and legacies to continue its work.
