An open book showing text with 2 small toys next to it

Pull up a chair with your favourite beverage (by an open fire if you have one!) and share your stories, memories, poems and pictures (and ideas) about life by and around the Culm, its tributaries and in its catchment. Join for an hour of cosy, warm Tales from the Culm. Register here.

This event aims to bring alive the river, its surrounding lands and the people and wildlife who live there, whether through festive stories or stories across the seasons. The evening will be ‘open mic’ and we encourage people to bring (or send us: hello@connectingtheculm.com) their memories, stories, pictures (photos or other) to explore what the Culm means to people and how that may shape its future.

Making the voice of Culm communities more visible and audible in a less formal, but complementary, way to the Blueprint Forum activities, this is the first in a series of events that explores peoples’ connections with the river, its environment and wildlife through the arts.
