An easy to moderate walk of four-and-a-half miles with Taunton Deane Ramblers. This walk sets off from Quants Nature Reserve, a 34-acre site managed by Forestry England, Somerset Wildlife Trust and Butterfly Conservation. Quants is well known for its butterflies and bats.

Walkers are requested to bring their own refreshments like drinks and any snacks.

The walk will be on fields, tracks, bridleways and quiet country lanes, often with stiles and inclines. Good walking boots are typically expected to be worn.

The walks are aimed at those who are used to walking, though are led at a pace suitable for the group. There is a general guidance of two miles per hour, but this can naturally vary, and hence some walks may not be suitable for everyone.

People can come along to three walks before they might like to join the Ramblers, but we don’t turn anyone away!

Meet at entrance to Quants Nature Reserve near Angersleigh and Lowton. There is limited roadside parking.
